Collage Tutorial

This took me a long time to write, please do not steal any of my images! Comment if you use this tutorial & feel free to tag me if you post it on facebook c:

Program: Photoshop CS5
Difficulty: Medium/Hard
What you need:
Celeb psds, I'll be using my Raquel Reed set, which you can download here: http://drawinfinity.info/celebpsds.php
Random pngs -> Click here to download all the PNGs used in this tutorial

Coloring PSD -> Click here to visit Savag3.net & download the Coloring PSD I used (the second one)

Step One:
Open up a blank canvas, I'm going to start with the size 800px by 800px. Create a blank layer.
* You may leave your canvas white, & rely on the coloring at the end to change the color of it,
or you may chose a background color in the beggining, this is totally up to your discretion.

Step Two:
You will now open up all the PSD's you have chose to work with. Place them on your canvas however you like.
Don't forget that you can resize, rotate, etc the PSD's however you want to.
This is what I have now:
Please note: I resized my image to 400px by 400px just for the preview purposes, I'm still actually working on 800px by 800px

Step Three:
Now I'm going to merge my 3 PDS's together, so that they are on their own layer. After that, I'm going to duplicate the PSD layer.
Then I'm going to go to Edit->Transform->Scale & drag the top left corner down.
After that, I'm going to Edit->Transform->Flip Horizontal & move my PSD's over where I want them.
This is what I have now:

Step Four:
Grab the frame I provided you with, & place it over your PSD's however you want to.
Here's what I have now:

Step Five:
Now, you're going to get the papers that I provided you with & place them wherever you like behind your PSD's.

Step Six:
The next thing you do is place your Object PNG's around your collage. You can place them anywhere you'd like, don't forget that you can rotate them, resize, fip, place them behind or in front of other objects, etc. For learning purposes, you may place your PNG's like mine are placed.
This is How I Placed Mine:

Step Seven:
Now I'm going to crop a bit of the excess background & then Flatten my all my layers.
Now, Duplicate your Background Copy & open the Coloring PSD I provided you.
(To use the Coloring PSD, resize it really big & then Copy->Paste your image & crop out the extra)
You can close the other image now, & Flatten the coloring PSD/Collage.
Here's What I have now:

Step Eight:
I'm going to do some coloring on my own, if you'd like to do some more as well, just match your settings to mine.
First, duplicate your background image again, & then go to Layer->New Adjusment Layer->Selective Color, use the settings shown below:

I'm also going to make it a bit brighter, you can do this as well by going to Layer->New Adjustment Layer->Brightness/Contrast, use the settings shown below:

Step Nine:
Now Flatten your image & save! That's it c:
